Music from Ukraine (Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings), Finland (Sibelius' Romance), Denmark (Nielsen's Suite), Norway (Grieg's Nordic Melodies) and Estonia (Arvo Pärt's Fratres). The Richmond Chamber Orchestra, Yorkshire's new pocket-sized orchestra has been described by reviewers and audiences as 'rather like having an orchestra playing in your front room' and 'brilliant music-making that takes the audience right top the heart of the music'. Their superb director Philippa Mo, world renowned soloist ('flawless technique and unfailing insight') garnered Gramophone Magazine's Editor's Choice accolade.
