Settle Writers Group

We’re rather excited to announce the Settle Writer’s Group is back! Not only are we reopening our creative space at The Joinery in Settle, we’re creating space in the virtual world and making the writer’s group a hybrid event.

You can choose to join us via zoom in the comfort of your own home, or you can come along the The Joinery here in Settle. The choice is yours.

Settle Writers group is a monthly meet-up for writers of all abilities.

Everyone is welcome! Perhaps you’re an avid writer who gets 5000 words done a day? Maybe you’re someone who wants to revisit an old love for writing? Or you might be a complete newbie whose not written since school. Settle Writers Group is your space to come and explore your writing with likeminded people at The Joinery.

You will write from a stimulus, explore different techniques and structures and have the option to share your work. We create a safe space where people choose whether or not they want to share their writing and discuss it with others. Settle Writers Group is a great opportunity to meet some friendly faces and revisit your love for creative writing.

Settle Stories will keep the group up to date with writing competitions, new stimulus and any events or speakers that we think are useful. Through Settle Stories there will be opportunities to share your writing at events. The group is created by and for the participants, so you will have a say in all things Settle Writers Group!
