The Settle Graveyard Project is working with Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust on a series of interactive trail talks to celebrate the ‘Deeper Connections’ project, focusing on the Long Preston Floodplain. Suitable for all the family, the light-hearted, entertaining walks will delve into the mysterious lives of ancestors who found their way into graveyards in Settle, Giggleswick and Long Preston. They will be led by local historian Sarah Lister who has just launched Meandering down the Ribble, a book focusing on the people who lived, worked and farmed in the area.
