A wonderful day of music from some of Yorkshire's finest musicians to raise funds for St. Oswald's Church.

The venue is St. Oswald's Church in Thornton in Lonsdale (Incidentally for lovers of Sherlock Holmes, Conan Doyle lived nearby and was married there). Thornton is a tiny hamlet, consisting of church which is opposite the pub - The Marton Arms. The people are great and their reputation for marvelous refreshments is second to none - why not come along and try some. Heather the landlady of the Marton Arms is very welcoming and supportive. She is happy to encourage people to bring their drinks across to the church.
The date is Saturday 28th September. The day will run from 2.00pm - 7.00pm with some of the best musicians Yorkshire has to offer, playing sets of 30-45 minutes which will start on the hour allowing some time for a changeover between acts. There will also be a merch stand should you want to support the artists by purchasing their CD's etc.
