Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist suffered serious injuries in Ingleton on Saturday morning.
The incident occurred at about 11am today. A cyclist was riding down the B6255 Back Gate towards the A65 when, for unknown reasons, he came off his bike and suffered serious head injuries.
The cyclist, a man in his 40s, was treated at the scene by ambulance staff before being taken to Preston Hospital.
He was riding a black Dolan bicycle and wearing a blue cycling top.
