Step into Settle’s Story – Join the Guided Heritage Walks

You are warmly invited to discover the hidden tales, striking landscapes, and vibrant history of Settle on a guided heritage walk through this charming Yorkshire Dales market town.

Led by knowledgeable local guides, each walk weaves together history and answers questions such as why is the iconic building in Settle called a Shambles? Can you eat a snicket? What is a ginnel?

Whether you're a history buff, nature lover, or simply curious, these walks offer fresh perspectives and rich conversation at every turn.

  • When: Thursday's at 2pm.
  • Where: Meet outside Settle Tourist Information Centre
  • Duration: Approx. 90 minutes
  • Cost: £5 per person, under 16's free
