Sedbergh’s first weekend crime literature festival
More Information (Dales Radio is not responsible for external websites)
Sedbergh, England’s only book town, presents its first ever crime fiction festival. There’s felony in the fells and murder of the moors, and crime in – well, you’ve got the idea. On the Coal Road, I was going to say – ideal place for a murder. Never walk it alone.
We have a wonderful line-up of best-selling crime fiction authors, including Martin Edwards, Kate Ellis and Frances Brody, and Jean Briggs talking with Martin about his collection of rare crime books. His latest book, Hemlock Bay, is out now, as is Kate Ellis’s Coffin Island which ingeniously combines a present-day mystery with crimes of the past.
