🎅❆🎄 𝐋𝐞𝐲𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐋𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐒𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐨𝐧: 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 🎄❆🎅

The traditional Christmas Tree lights switch on with Santa this year is happening on Saturday November 29th.

Join in with the festivities as Leyburn Band perform at 3:30pm and and the arrival of Santa on his sleigh supported by his elves and Wensleydale Round Table at 4:30pm.

They are looking for some young people to help Santa switch on the lights. Do you know someone who would like to help Santa? If so please send a DM via their their Facebook page @LeyburnEvents with the name of the young person, say why you think they would be ideal, and don't forget the contact email of a parent/guardian.

 Leyburn Primary PTFA are also inviting you to their Christmas Faye at the Methodist Hall, 10am to 4pm. Browse a variety of wonderful stalls, maybe even do a bit of Christmas shopping with foods, gifts, games and more.

The Garden Rooms at Tennants are hosting their Winter Wonderland Event on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th November. The Wensleydale Railway will be hosting the Polar Express event running 14th November - 23rd December 2025.

There will also be a fantastic Christmas Window Competition, so if your shop, pub, café or business would love to take part, then look out as the team will be out and about taking photographs of windows over the weekend of the 6th/7th December ready for voting on during the following week.
