Students at The Wensleydale School and Sixth Form performed ‘High School Musical on Stage’ over three nights finishing on Friday (8th).
Teacher Joshua Hadfield said the students’ hard work paid off: “Students from all years groups put on a brilliant performance and the long rehearsals and commitment have all been worthwhile. There were lots of nerves but the three nights were a success and all the staff are extremely proud of the cast.”
Jack Dalton, Year 10, played high school jock, Troy, and Ellie Peacock, also Year 10, took on the role of Gabriella, the smart girl at school. The Disney production follows their budding relationship and their unexpected decision to audition for the school musical.
