North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about two burglaries that occurred in Askrigg.
They happened between 1am and 4am on Sunday 5 September when two males gained entry to two local public houses before stealing items from inside and police are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
In particular, we are appealing for information about two males that may have been seen acting suspiciously in the area at the time.
One of the males is described as wearing a baseball cap, tracksuit hoody and trainers. The other male was wearing a dark coloured beanie hat and possibly a boilersuit type piece of clothing.
