Two men in police custody less than 12 hours after incident at H Samuel on the High Street
Around 2.43am Friday morning (28 August 2020) H Samuel jewellers on Skipton High Street was broken into and a large quantity of jewellery stolen from the shop.
Officers were quickly on scene and identified leads which when combined with local knowledge, resulted in two men being raised as suspects.
As a result, this morning these two men have been arrested on suspicion of the burglary and investigators are working with local officers to piece together their movements.
The men are described as a 49 and a 46 year old, both from Skipton.
