Leo Morris, Chief Operating Officer at Tupgill Estate has died, it's just been announced
It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Leo Morris, Chief Operating Officer and Director of Forbidden Corner near Leyburn on 27th December 2024.
An official statement from Tupgill Estate, owners of the Forbidden Corner and Saddle Room, announced Leo's untimely departure this morning: "It is an immense loss to our company and to all who had the privilege of knowing him."
"His dedication, vision, and love of Tupgill Estate helped steer our company through pivotal moments, leaving an indelible mark on our journey and our values. As COO, Leo’s contributions extended far beyond his professional duties; he inspired us with his unwavering commitment, compassionate leadership, and infectious enthusiasm. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Leo was a mentor, a confidant, and a friend to many. His warmth, generosity, and ability to connect with everyone around him created a lasting impact on our workplace culture and our lives. Leo’s absence will be deeply felt on the estate and around the local area."
A celebration of his life will be held at Holy Trinity Church, Coverham on Monday 13th January, 12.00noon. Anyone wishing to attend is welcome to park at the Forbidden Corner and utilise the shuttle bus service which will be in place from 11am. Family flowers only.
