A rather unusual collaboration has just been announced and rather than sinking his fangs into you, Dracula is encouraging you to donate your blood!
This Halloween, NHS Blood and Transplant are teaming up with none other than Dracula himself(!) thanks to his spooky ties to Whitby Abbey and English Heritage an unlikely new campaign to recruit blood donors with vital blood types across the country.
Visitors to English Heritage Halloween events will be offered free self-testing kits to find their blood type.
It’s a playful twist with a serious purpose: highlighting the urgent need more donors to come forward, especially those with O negative and B negative blood types, to help boost supplies ahead of the challenging winter period.
