Two bikes have been stolen over the weekend and Police need your help to catch the culprits
Police are investigating a theft of two e-bikes which occurred overnight between Sunday 26th May-Monday 27th May on Low Row, Feetham to Gunnerside. The two bikes had been attached on a bike rack to a white van, were removed from the van and then stolen ![]()

Unfortunately there has been a rise in e-bike thefts recently, according to North Yorkshire Police. So please keep them locked away and secure where possible. Here is some valuable and useful advice:
Ensure that all doors are locked overnight, and all property locked away safely and secure in garages or sheds.
Remove any valuables from sight and it is advisable to keep house/cars key, wallets/purses, phones/laptops/tablets in the room where you sleep.
Consider fitting a security light to the side of your property. Install some good quality working CCTV with motion sensors.
The police offer free property marking on your valuables. If you would like to arrange this, get in touch and they can arrange a visit.
Please do not be alarmed by this information – North Yorkshire is one of the safest places to live in the country however it is important to take steps to protect yourself and your property.
