The injured cyclist had crashed near Grinton
Swaledale Mountain Rescue and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance were called in by the police to rescue the injured but well-equiped Mountain biker.
Blizzard conditions moved in during the rescue but fortunately, with a bit of good flying by Yorkshire Air Ambulance, the casualty was evacuated by stretcher to the aircraft before the snow came in again.
