Can you help our appeal after a motorist received substantial facial injuries when he was attacked by another driver near Skipton?
The incident happened at around 4.40pm on Friday 4 August when a red Kia car was travelling along Broughton Road towards the main A59 before turning left onto the A59.
Between this junction and the next turn-off to the left, (to Carleton) there has been a collision between the red Kia and a silver Honda Civic.
There has then been an altercation between the two drivers, which resulted in the driver of the Kia sustaining substantial facial injuries that required hospital treatment.
The driver of the Silver Honda Civic, left the scene before police arrived.
We're appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident, has any dashcam footage or saw either of the two vehicles prior to the incident, to get in touch.
Anyone who can help with the investigation is asked to contact Detective Constable Rebecca Cullinane via email rebecca.cullinane@northyorkshire.police.uk or call 101, and select option 2 and enter extension 51994
A man aged in his 30s has been arrested in connection with the incident and released under investigation to allow for further enquiries to be carried out.
