Settle Cricket club are attempting a world record run around the club field to raise funds today.
Players and members of Settle Cricket Club will be attempting to make the world record of distanced covered in 12 hours which currently stands at 169km.
They will be raising money for the Cricket Club which has been hit hard financially during the pandemic and for Bowel Cancer UK, a charity close to the club's heart.
We will be running from 7am to 7pm on Saturday July 11th. Any support, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated.
You're invited to the ground at Marshfield to cheer the guys along - there will be an outdoor bar too.
They will need to do over 470 laps in under 12 hours to beat the world record
