Yorkshire Dales Cheese Festival set to return

Picture: Stephen Garnett

The Festival celebrates the incredible produce of the Dales – cheese very much included! – with local businesses throughout the National Park hosting special events, menus and tastings to mark the occasion.

The festival returns from Thursday 7 to Sunday 10 October 2021.   One weekend may not be long enough to pack in everything delicious that the Dales has to offer, but we’re going to give it a good try!

Look out for cheesey bites and themed dishes in local cafes and restaurants, demos using local produce, cookery courses, dining experiences, Yorkshire gin and ales, specially created dairy ice creams and sorbets, jams, jellies and chutneys, locally-reared meat on menus, and the chance to meet the makers.

After a difficult year the Dales is looking forward to being able to welcome back visitors properly and sharing what is so special about the food and drink inspired by and produced from our stunning, unique landscape.

There are some fantastic businesses signed up to this year’s Festival already. Don’t miss the chance to visit them and sample their amazing produce for yourselves.

Check out the latest line up of cheese and local produce events and activities.
