Festival organisers Cockerhoop Creative has taken to Facebook this afternoon to announce that the festival is now cancelled.
That's despite comments by Jon Arrowsmith the event organiser ionly yesterday saying 'the show must go on'. That was after announcements by various acts that thew would not be attending, although in each case no reason was give for their departures. Celebrity headliner, James Martin was the first to pull out followed by others, including local celebrity chef Rosemary Shraeger.
Disgruntled festival-goers have taken to social media to complain, having purchased tickets in advance. A message from the organisers on social media suggests they contact their bank for a refund.
The show was due to take place on 19th and 20th July in Aireville park, Skipton.
